Heat recovery

How it works: General principle.

In 68 seconds, the controller changes the direction of air flow backwardly.

Ventoxx does not replace the heating system, but it helps to keep the heat inside the house. When the warm air is removed from the room, it gets through the highly-efficient ceramic heat exchanger. That makes the heat exchanger heated, i.e. the heat in the air transmits to the ceramic heat accumulator, where it is retained for some time. When the direction of ventilation flow changes, fresh and oxygen-rich air from the street, on its way to the warm house, takes the heat from the heat exchanger accumulated thereby and enters the room already being hot.

Thus, the warm and fresh air flows into your apartment and creates a pleasant microclimate.

How it works: detailed description

Phase 1.
The warm and used air is taken out by the fan (operating at low electricity consumption rates) through the heat exchanger into the street, while a high percentage of the heat contained in the exhaust air is captured by the heat exchanger (heat exchange effect).

Phase 2.
In 68 seconds, the heat exchanger will be heated to room temperature. At this time, the fan automatically switches to another direction of operation and brings fresh air in the opposite direction, i.e. into the room.

Phase 3.
The fan brings in fresh but cold air from the street into the building. Passing through the hot heat exchanger, the fresh air takes the maximum heat accumulated thereby. Due to the large surface area of the heat accumulator heats the air to near room temperature, while the heat exchanger is cooled slowly and carefully.

Phase 4.
In 68 seconds, the heat exchanger will cool down, because the heat is already in your room. The fan again changes the direction of operation and the cycle begins again with Phase 1.

With minimal power consumption, thanks to the masterpiece of the German engineering and the ceramic heat exchanger imported from Germany, we were able to achieve a very high rate of heat recovery.

Ventoxx: „double hit“

Our ventilation system Ventoxx operates pairwise according to the pendulum effect. Therefore, we recommend that, if possible, the ventilation devices Ventoxx should be installed in pairs. The pairwise operation with the pendulum effect means that the two units are always working simultaneously but in opposite directions: one unit takesthe air out at one phase, and the other, in parallel,brings the fresh air into the room. At the next phase, devices simultaneously change their directions.
